Debaters Ask — Is There Really An Energy Crisis? The debaters season wasn't as good as last year's, but they just had less energy since they were always talking about con- serving . The novice winnings were very good especially since it was the first year they'd debated. They received a few tro- phies as did some individuals for their speaking ability in O.O., Extempt., and Improv. Storytelling. The job of each member and the position they held in their OEA organization is as follows: Sherry Jensen worked at the Anita Livestock Auction and was the parliamentarian, Joanie Cassell worked at the Town and County Insur- ance and was vice president, Mary Wessling worked at the Anita Coop and was the treasurer, Roberta McAfee worked at the elementary and was reporter, the other four girls worked on a route which was four different jobs; they included job simulation, typing pool, and working at the elementary and high school offices. Diane Nelsen was the president, Cindy Mamin was the historian, Denise Benton was fund raising chairperson, and Gloria Hack- well was secretary. PIC 1: OEA Members.
