The Spartanettes got off to a slow start this season, but with every loss there was a gain. A gain of determination and enthusiasm which brought the Spartanettes second in their sectionals and the consolation trophy at the Lenox Christmas tournaments. The Spartanettes gave their opponents many anxious moments as in the first ten games they came within ten points or less of winning. This season there were many changes as a new coach had to get to know a whole new set of girls and also the girls had to learn the new ideas of a new coach. Not only did the Spartanettes learn to fight back twice as hard after a loss, but from these losses they gained a teamwork. This season for the Spartanettes ended as a fair season and next years season should be twice as successful.
