 The Anita Wiota Communities passed a school bond issue for a new high school. The new high school will be west of the football field. A total of $1, 558, 000 worth of bonds were sold for 51, 500 square feet of new building construction. Don Brichacek, PICTURED UPPER LEFT, was kept busy this year with final considerations for the new building which will be completed, hopefully, by January 1, 1978. The Anita Community School Board, PICTURED FAR LEFT, was busy with construction and mate- rial bids along with its administrative duties. In the UPPER RIGHT-HAND picture, Omer Troyer had a successful second year as principal at AHS. He began a closed door policy that helped reduce skipping and unnecessary leaving of school. These two women are often taken for granted at AHS, probably because they are always there; willing and ready to help every one. Their service to the school should not be under-estimated.
