The official announcement of who would reign as this year's King and Queen was made by the President of the Student Council, Darrell Hocken- berry. Homecoming 1974 was dedicated to Mrs. Blanche Hall for her willing and devoted service to AHS. She was presented a bouquet of roses at the coronation ceremony. The traditional Homecoming parade which was led by the band and drill team included class floats a Booster Club float, and the fire truck carrying the football players and cheerleaders.
