Kelvin Kopp set an all-time record in the high hurdles with a time of 16 seconds flat. The team placed among the top contenders at such events as Elk Horn Relays, Blackhawk, Relays, Audu- bon Relays, and Guthrie Center Relays. In district competition. Bill Wohlleber won the 880 yard run and Kelvin Kopp placed second. Bill Wohlleber also placed second in the mile run. In the state meet held at Drake University Stadium, Bill Wohlleber placed fifth in the mile run.
