Mrs. Jean Gill, secretary to Mr. Brichacek and the Board of Education, is responsible for keeping all per- sonnel and financial records at AHS. Mrs. Dorothy Power, secretary to Mr. Premus, has many various duties. She types, files, punches lunch tickets and still finds time to drive students to and from school. PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCENES The Board of Education consists of five regular board members elected for a three year term. These people represent our entire school district-at-large. Their chief functions are to select personnel, set school policies and approve a yearly school budget. These elected officials are unpaid lay educators donating their time and efforts for the improvement of education in the Anita Community Schools. BOARD OF EDUCATION: Ranny Kelloway, president; Gene Andrews, Bernald Richter, Dick Richter, and Bruce Brown. 6

TODAY'S LEADERS MOLD TOMORROW’S CITIZENS Mr. Terry Premus is our Junior and Sen- ior High School principal and sponsors the National Honor Society. This is his second year at Anita High School. He attended Northern State College to earn both his B.S. and M. S. degrees.
