' The beautiful Japanese colored chalk mural depicting the home life industries, and the country with its cities, minerals, imports and exports was drawn by the students of the sixth grade. The project gave the class the opportunity to express creatively what they had learned from reading and discussing. One of the most interesting and fascinating science units was the one about electricity. The class especially enjoyed it because many experiments could be performed. Experiments made the study of electricity more meaningful. Here at the always busy science table were some of the curious sixth graders discovering for themselves some ofthe facts about electricity.
