C. for a one day whirlwind tour of that city. Students from Columbia City and Heritage toured the capitol with our A.H.S. group directed by Mr. Burnau. The tourists sat in on sessions of both the House and Senate. They also met Congressman Roush and saw the Capitol Building, White House, Smithsonian Institute, etc. Everyone thought the trip was worth making. The Math department, with male teachers Mr. Dygert and Mr. Hammel, and female teachers Mrs. Kile, Mrs. Thalls, Mrs. Boyer, and Mrs. Schubert offer students a change to reach their goals in Math.
