The last two games for the Wlildcats were away from home. They traveled to L.1Porte and upset the Bulldogs Homecoming 44-O. Since the XVilElc.1ts had lost the flip to advance to the play-offs the week before the Santa Fe game, they played their last game with a determination to prove their ability as a TEAM. All-County Team. i. The Dickinson game was truly one of the most exciting of the season. Not only was it Homecoming, but it was the last game for 16 seniors to play in Wildcat Stadium. 'During the traditional half-time ceremonies, Barbara Lynn Roberts was crowned Foot- ball Sweetheart by team captains Barry Kerr, Billy Patterson, Gerald Buchta, and George Drury. The Wfildcats performed brilliantly as they came from behind to beat the Gators 19-14 before a crowd of 4,000 homecoming fans.
