Wildcats make impressive entrance, Kwik Gerald Buchta Wolfe George Drury Another Deer bites the dust! The 1959 Angleton Wfildcat Team lost no time in overcoming inexperience to have one of the best football records in the schoolls history. The Wilcl- cats had a well balanced attack with swift, elusive baclcs and a fast, strong line. In Angleton's first game of the season, the Wild- cats downed the Wharton Tigers 14-O. Needless to say, the trip home from Wharton was a happy ride for all the Wildcats! K
