Gfzss jlgsfory If the class wull please come to order we wull begun our lesson' We wull take our lesson from our hustory book The study for tonught us the hustory of the Senuor Class of 1959 Some of you are famuluar wuth thus hustory but there are some who know luttle or nothung about thus wonderful class The hustory of thus class us a relatuvely new hustory so new un fact that some of ut us stull un the makung Well enough of thus ramblung lets all turn to the furst chapter As Chapter One opens we fund that ut us September 6 T947 Thus day marks the begunnung of our search for knowledge Luttle dud anyone realuze then of the greatness whuch was to follow We started wuth 42 of the present day Senuors and 2 unsuspectung teachers Muss Roos and Mrs Fuller After only 4 weeks of school another teacher Mrs Duxon was requured to manage us through hopscotch red rover chase and dodge ball and sometumes readung Our two mauor productuons were The Valentune Nobody Wanted and the May Fete un whuch some took part un the home made kutchen band Chapter One slowly draws to a close wuth the Class of 59 funally well housebroken After a summer of gloruous freedom and no school we found ourselves back un the classroom to begun Chapter Two ances one of whuch was the May Fete of that year Of course we cant leave out one of our teachers Muss Runehart who so gracuously clupped the pages of our text books together whenever a pucture of a snake appeared The Thurd Chapter of our book opens when the Class of 59 us neatly settled un the thurd grade Math becomes our fruend and we begun Iearnung how to duvude One change occurred un that school lasted untul 3 30 But because we aduust easuly to these thungs ut proved to be no problem Our annual May Fete ended the year By the tume we reached our fourth year un school we felt that we surely knew all there was to know about everythung but Muss Armstrong Mrs Van Suckle Mrs Yates and Mrs Strucklun proved us wrong At recesses we made a mad rush to the ocean wave for a sectuon The merry go round and swungs came to our energetuc attentuon Our pastume also consusted of marbles beetles house and fughtung We gave quute a performance at the annual May Fete There were May pole Dances Flower Chours and a Kung and Queen The Kung and Queen were the envy of all the others when they were crowned As Chapter Fuve opens we have become umportant now because we are un the Junuor Hugh School buuldung Thus us one of the most excutrng years of our hustory We duscover what socual lufe us luke It dudnt take long for us to master the two step dance We certaunly were gettung smarter because we were allowed to change , .
