' , ' - 'M Qllass nem When first we started, years ago, our hearts were full of thrills, At last we had an aim in life, as students of Angier High. As we advanced through all the grades, this aim did not diminish, But going on our way we thought, Shall we ever finish? As young, green freshmen, how we longed for days to hurry by, Not knowing how the Seniors looked upon us with a sigh And wished that they could live the gay life of Freshmen once more. Now we must follow paths that others started long before. Yes, we must enter strange worlds now and for ourselves must fend, For graduation, we are told, is the starting not the end of life and learning. We must take our place in this wide earth as teachers, lawyers, doctors, preachers, we must prove our worth. We leave you now, Angier High School, this chapter has now ended, With all its happy school days and people we befriended. But you will never lose us, for we'll think of you each day, And in our he arts we promise that from you we'll never stray. JUDY FISH Class Poet 22 urer 4, Lunchroom Worker 2, Li-
