Al- though seven players graduated last year, hopes are high for the com ing season. There are eight lettermen re- turning this year. They are as follows: J e rry I-lockaday, Melvin Hughes, Andy McLeod, Fred Owen, Billy Surles, 'Sammy Jackson, Jerry Smith, and Winton Adams. Bobby Mauldin, Bobby Ray Adams, and Jerry Partin are ex- pected to be newcomers to the team.
