Life at ASU offers many opportu- nities for intellectual challenges in and out of class. Not to be ignored is the achieve- ment that is seen in making new and lasting friendships. Doors open for achievement Registration marks the end of summer and the beginning of the fall semester. With this comes new classes, new professors, and new faces. This year ASU saw a drop in fall enrollment with 6,163 students en- rolled bythe 12th class day. This was the first decrease since 1981. Registration began Wednesday Aug. 29 and ran through Aug. 31. Stu- dents encountered the usual maze that runs throughout the Education- Fine Arts Building. Students take time out to exchange greetings as they rush to class.
