PIE E4CE vt, u .X,., , 5 The pie-eating contest, held on September 20, was a hilarious success. Nine teams of two peo- ple, participated in this messy experience. Blindfolded girls shov- ing pies into the faces of boys with their hands tied behind their backs, was the rule of the game. The winning team, Leah Hargrove and Ftusty Lewis, was awarded a 35.00 cash prize. The winning score was 4V2 pies consumed in five minutes.

The Beader's Theatre presented Helen Schafer's adaptation of To Err ls l-luman: Hamlit and the Comedy of Errors, in the University Center on Sep- tember 20-22. Hamlit, the production based on the Twisted Tales from Shakespeare, was presented first each evening. Nar- rators in the production were .Jett Ste- phenson and Lanice Kincaid. Readers were Clay Allen, Dianne Benz, Ralph Gill, Greg Kerley, and Bandy Barbee. Cast members in the second play were Christy Matson, narrator, Bob lvlogel, Brent Scott, Craig Torrance, Boots Walker, Bill Schneider, and Randy Bar- bee. The plot revolved around the tra- ditional joke involving a mix up between identical twins. lt was based on the original Comedy of Errors by Shakespeare.
