WE STCDVQY 75 Zi You haven't filled out all your cards- Sorry, that section is closed-See that counselor over there please-Fill out this card for your yearbook picture- Smile-Walk this way-You'll have to go back and have this signed. The struggles of beginning a new semester can often be tiresome and again there are those promises to make better grades and the hope ofa different type of living. Students some- times will start off with this in mind and really buckle down to business. Others get by without too much studying, with grades not as good as expected, but still have all forms of extracurricular activities. Where will it all take us and will we like it once we get there? Someone gives you a diploma, shakes your hand, and you are on your way. That all important goal has been reached. We traveled our own paths, met all kind of people-young and old, and formed opinions. Yet, at Angelo State we are brought together by that invisible bond ot deter- mination. We all try to reach out and touch something we desperately want. Our interests may be varied, but we are all one in that we are students of Angelo State University. i'Spare time is spent by students doing what each person feels like taking part in. The activities listed here are in chro- nological order so that you may remember the 1973-74 year as it hap- pened.

DCZDRSCF On August 29, 1973, the rooms quickly began to acquire the character of their new inhabitants. As the halls and lobbies of ASU began to fill with peo- ple carrying boxes, suitcases, and anything else that would fit in the rooms, the elevators became overly crowded and tended to go a little slower than usual. After moving in, the students began to get involved in the activities held at the University, beginning with the play The Effect of Gamma Rays on the Man in the Moon Mangold . The students quickly began to use the schools facilities such as the swimming pool, recreation room, the tennis courts, and many others. Everyone began to relax and enjoy themselves until school began September 4. 19 . A Y' - ..,, i '- it it, 'Q ' , l 7 ' ,QYYRJ . .. J .V 9. - M QYA' .wb-x A., ,,,, 2 8 -is M1285 ,.-f.
