Sign of the times The present generation proiects itself in manner, mood, and dress. lt's a generation on the go, caught in the whirlwind of progress. The city, the college, the kids, all on the go, all on the grow. lt's a feeling of doing and participating, a feeling of belonging and being. lt's cool and groove . lt's gear and fab . lt's word and meaning, no longer the sound. lt's NOW. lt's this now feeling, with some vibra- tions of the future keyed in, that is proiected in the introduction of Rambouillet 67. Now that we've set a mood to be carried throughout the book, let's establish a purpose. The personality of ASC isn't something that can be put into words, nor is it like any other school in Texas. ASC is unique, as all schools are unique, and it is this individuality that a yearbook tries to capture. A yearbook must gather the events of the year-which are the products of faculty and student body-and turn these happen- ings into a visual entity. If a yearbook doesn't re- create the exact memory, it at least enhances the general mood and memory. lf a yearbook can ac- complish this, it has served its purpose.
