' 'f- -I 1-Agape I p lf ,Q jgfgge . . . leisure Margo Kirkham Wins Best Dressed Title Margo Kirkham, 5'10 brown-eyed brunette was selected SAC's representative in the nation wide competition for America's Ten Best Dressed College Coeds. Photographs featured on these pages were submitted to Glamour Magazine for final judging. Winners of the na- tional competition were named in the spring by a panel of Glamour editors and flown to New York for a two-week stay. Freshman officer and class favorite, Miss Kirkham is member of Student Council, Rodeo Club, and Lambda Tau Sorority. The secretarial-science major is a part-time secre- tary for lawyers Forrest Harding and Oliver Otto and is an active member of the First Baptist Church. Runners-up in the local competition were Ann Cates, Brady, and Sherre McClung, San Angelo. Candidates were judged on figure, posture, grooming, and use of make-up, as well as on imagination in managing a clothes budget, appropriate campus look, and individuality in use of fashion color and accessories. Other candidates on the local level were Shari Arved- son, Margie Blanton, Ian Cates, Annette Duncan, Brenda Cary, Myra Stovall, and Bonnie Tinsley. 5 Q 'Ulla 1960 Best Dressed Coed off SAC, Margo Kirkham, in u bouffunte formal pauses before leaving for the evening out.
