, , SENIOR CLASS HISTORY fContinuedj fContinued from page 241 The Juniors played host to us at the fall semi-formal, where a colorful theme, Au- tumn Leaves,,' was carried out. Soon, the Drama Club and Thespian Troupe 1160 an- nounced the forthcoming production of Pride and Prejudicef, with a cast com- posed of nearly all Seniors. For our Christ- mas formal the theme of a Candy Cane Ball was carried out by Linda Greenough, our Social Chairman, and her committee. When we returned from Christmas vacation, preparations began for graduation. It startled us to realize that in only a year those preparations would be made for us. Suddenly it was spring. Beautiful for- mals of pastel shades graced our prom, and then came the tea given for us by Mr. and Mrs. Hibschman. Senior Farewell rehear- sals have now begun. Before we know it, Senior Farewell will be here, and we shall say goodbye to teachers and friends. VVe shall wait outside the auditorium, and then slowly, to the strains of Strolling, we shall take the all-too-short walk down the aisle to the stage, where we'll stand for the last time as students of Andrews. As we pass the symbolic torch on to the Juniors, and leave the auditorium, each of us will surely feel that she has come closer to the goal she had set for herself on her first day at Andrews- that of becoming the perfect Andrews girl. Teaching in elementary schools, which are taking part in a program designed by this university, Lynda Teschke and Doralyn Fair are trying desperately to cram five days' work into the new four-day school week. In Hollywood, Alfred Hitchcock has revo- lutionized the movie industry by hiring four Andrews graduates to do his work. Gail Auld is his secretary, Barbara Klein, his make-up artist, Susan Tigue, business man- ager, and Gail Seymour, stage set manager. It is surprising what four well-trained girls can do. As we think over the various careers of the class of 1957, we look with most pride to those two girls whose careers are those that God gave them. Evelyn Neundorfer is be- ing celebrated as the mother of the first American-born quintuplets, and Margaret Leimbach is working with her third set of triplets. Meanwhile back at Andrews in 1967, Marilyn Howard and Sharon Farrow are still trying to get signed out-they never finished the prophecy. -Q 62
