Martha Janes, as the pr-ous Jane, and Audrey Hayman, as the critical Y'-iwbeth, - were realistic in their portrayals of the two oldest daughters. Nancy Close won nvmiroua laughs in her part of Vary, the daughter whose nose was constantly buried an I book. Joan Cary, as the lively Catherine and Lois Sholtis, as the flirtatious Lydia, were e-'cellent as the youngest daughters.
