. ., ,, .. TT s ' 1 ' I ' as A.. 63 NOT FINISHED: JUST BEGUN BACCALAUREATE On Sunday, May 5, 1957, the Baccalaureate service for the nineteen graduating seniors was held in the Methodist Church. The seniors marched in to the processional music of Pomp and Circumstance' played by Mrs. Ruth Stookey. The choral arrangement of 'I Shall Not Pass Again This Way was pre- sented by the mixed vocal ensemble. The Invocation was given by Rev. Paul G. Frankenfeld, followed by another number by the mixed vocal ensemble, You'l1 Never Walk Alone . The sermon was then delivered by Rev. A. M. Taylor. Following the sermon Mr. Wilbur Mundy, Trustee, presented each member of the graduating class with a Bible inscribed with their name. The service was closed with the benediction pronounced by Rev. Glan Raney. COMMENCEMENT The Commencement exercise was held Friday, May 10, 1957, in the school gymnasium. Music was presented by the Bailey Orchestra. The Invocation was given by Rev. O. S. Crain. The Commencement Address, Building for the Future, was delivered by Mr. Keith Y. Carper, Superintendent of the Ligioneer Public Schools. The Superintendent of Huntington County Schools, Harold A. Smith, then presented the nineteen graduating seniors with their diplomas. Then the Principal, John R. Hahn, presented various awards. The Kitchenmaid Sportsmanship Trophy was presented to Charles Harvey. The Kitchenmaid Scholarship and a State Scholarship were received by Judy Stouder. Medals were then presented to the Salutatorian and Valedictorian, Paula Wilson and Judy Stouder respectively. The benediction com- pleting the exercise was pronounced by Rev. O.S.
