ORCHE TR Perhaps one of the least known of all the musical organizations at Andrew Warde is the orchestra, which boasts ofa select membership of nine musicians. These zealous individuals meet daily to practice and prepare themselves for the annual Spring Concert in which they display the result of their year's labor. The orchestra, or ensemble as it should be called because of its size, is composed of stringed instruments: five violins, two cellos, one base, and a piano. Clare Takacs, one of the outstanding members of the group, brought honors to Warde by representing the school at the Connecticut All-State Orchestra in Hartford, as well as the All-Eastern Orchestra in Atlantic City, New Jersey. J. Brown, C. Tackas
