Each of the school's elections, such as for class and council officers, has been conducted by the Election Commission. The members have set up all the limitations. COMMUNITY CHEST . . . R. Conley, L. Strauss, Miss Burg- staller, E. Frankel, L. Short. The Community Chest Commission has initiated the Eagle's Nest, which was this year's drive to collect money for the various charitable organizations. The con- tributions pledged by each student were collected and allocated to these charitable organizations. FINANCE COMMITTEE . . . G. Brauner, C. Terebesi, R. Hillman. The members of the Finance Committee have handled the col- lection of money for blanket tax. Whenever needed, they have helped plan next year's school budget. ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE . . . Mr. German, M. Swist, G. Green- halgh, L. Bloom, A. Shumofsky. Although the auditorium was not ready for use most of the year, the Assembly Commission was able to sponsor rallies and en- tertainment. This commission's function has been to arrange for varied assembly program next year. HANDBOOK COMMITTEE . . . J. Kraskie, B. Baker, S. Beardsley, P. Danberg. The members of the Handbook Commission have prepared a guidebook for next year's students and teachers in our school.

PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMISSION . . . H. Smith, A. Witsil, D. Dakai, L. Lansing, R. Ray. The students serving on the Public Relation committee handled all the publicity for the school council events. Their principle functions were to interpret the work of the council to the whole school and to publicize the qctivities of the school to the entire community. TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE . . . R. Solari, J. Curtis, J. Brown, Mr. Laurner. Providing bus transportation to any school function held out of town has been the purpose of the Transportation Com- mittee. The members have also obtained chaperones for these buses. SCHOOL COUNCIL COMMITTEES HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE . . . Row I: D. LaBossiere, M. Buzas, M. Delorenzo, M. B. Elwood, J. Greenberg, R. Rosenberg. Row,2: S. Tower, J. Sternberg, A. Percell, M. Bergis, M. Suras, S. Carp. Members of the Hospitality Committee have been on duty in the council room at all times during the school day. They have been available to escort any visitors or new students through our school. These committee members have also clone council work and have acted as school messengers. SOCIAL COMMITTEE . . . J. Herman, B. Seidens, J. Brown, Miss Grover, J. Sternberg, A. Neigher. Any social event that has been directly or indirectly sponsored by the school council has been handled by the Social Committee. I For the student body the committee this year, initiated can- I teens that have been held after basketball games. 1 CLUB COMMISSION . . . V. Quinn, P. Turoczi, C. Lauri. All of the clubs and most of the extra-curricular activities have been organized through specifications of the Club Commission. This year the Club Commission presented a charter to each certified club.
