A new school, new auditorium, and new Thespian Charter set the stage for our first Thespian play. This play marked the first time that a serious vehicle, rather than the usual comedy, was presented by students of a Fairfield high school. The brand new auditorium of Andrew Warde High School was christened April 5th and 6th with the Thespian's production of Thornton Wilder's American classic, Our Town. Our Town, a play about Grover's Corner's, a small town in New Hampshire, was given by the Thespians as it was produced on Broadway, with emphasis on acting and the use OUR TOWN CAST Stage Manager ........ Requirements for membership in the Thespian Society are ten points earned in any phase of dramatics during the four years of high school. The Thespian Society is under the competent direction of Mrs. Catharine Busch. The officers for this year were Louis Cepero, president, Seth Weintraub, vice-president, Barbara Butler, treasurer, Susan Sheatsley, secretary, and Gayle Griffin, scribe. Thespians are led by Lou Cepero, president, in a dis- cussion about play finances.
