After many hours of hard work and headaches, the Jacksonian has come to serve as a memorial to your youth and the days you spent at Andrew Jackson Academy. We express our thanks for the help of the staff and that of Mrs. Tyner, our advisor. For the money, time, and favors of everyone else, we offer our gratitude. As each year comes to an end, a touch of nostalgia sometimes creeps into our hearts. We now realize that another year of our youth is gone. We should feel fortunate that we have a yearbook to recall the happy and crazy times of our school life. If the 1980 Jacksonian has captured the spirit of A.J.A., it is particularly because of those people who worked so diligently to produce it. And last, but not least, I personally hope that you, the students, will cherish and hold dear the memories and recollections that the 1980 Jacksonian holds. Sincerely, Wanda Brickie, Editor-In-Chief Kay Under, Business Manager Mrs. Kim Tyner, Advisor and the 1980 Jacksonian staff. jiiStw v nano w Mam r-rnr mm 'n fngm 7 7 777j7; 77 WrniWw w-mteRfT: 7?.777 7 7 7C WWll'OJWU 7 7: 7;i7:f: ■infttnf; T7 7?7j5 ■fcfffift} 7; 7.' : ): 7 7 7 i FORMER FIRST LADY DIES - Mamie Eisenhower holds up a campaign button for her husband President Dwight Eisenhower at a San Francisco show in 1956.
