Falcon players reaching high for a iump ball. lt ff 4 ' P I l I l X ul' 1 N N I I Ol N .xg yi I The purpose of G.A.A. is to promote good sportsman- ship, to promote an opportunity tor participation in sports, to develop good fellowship and an- interest in athletics among girls. G.A.A. is tor girls who like to par- ticipate in sports after school. There is a great variety of sports offered throughout the school year. During the first quarter hockey, tennis, and competitive swimming are offered, In the second quarter there is basketball and trampoline. The third quarter there is bowling, volleyball, and form swimming. ln the tourth quarter there is soft- ball, badminton, and synchronized swimming. Any girl who likes sports may ioin. A girl can participate in 2 sports per quarter. She can earn points toward getting a block and then a star. A girl earns 25 points tor each sport in which she Participates. Atter she has received 200 points she earns her block. At the end of the year there is an awards banquet honoring the outstanding girls. With both hands on the ball, Bonnie Perry fights hard for it.
