HONOR SOCIETY Students who excelled both academically and f extra-curricularly were selected to the National Honor Society. Requirements were that they main- tain a 90 percent average or above, display leader- ship senlice to the school and be of good character. Members are chosen by an advisory committee of the faculty and the principal. Activities participated in by club members were taking baked goods to a rest home for the elderly, to orphanages, and participating in the Young Scholars Bowl. The Honor Societ also had a fundraiser to help with the expenses o the banquet held to induct new members. Maura Morgan checks the list of Honor students over. During the year, the Art Club helped various 5 95 clubs at Andress, as well as the 6 PTSA and several community organizations with artistic endeavors. The Art Club participated in the gi if Homecoming poster contest, was responsible for lettering the 5 Foyer of Fame in the Gym foyer, and decorated the gym for the Andress Aglow. According to Ms. Fitzgerald, the T club provided an outlet for many students to express themselves WM artistically. VOE OEA A Vocational Office Education fVOEl is a two year program which helps students get a job in any area of office work. Along with V.O.E. another class Office Education Association fOEAj gives the students a chance to participate in competitions to show how well their skills have been mastered.
