Language Conjugations, declensions, idioms, colloquialisms, customs, cultures, translations are the tools with which we learn the languages of other countries and, through the language and its literature, arrive at a better understanding of society. Marshall McLuhan’s “global village” becomes more and more of a reality. As our world shrinks through jet travel and advanced communication techniques, our horizons broaden. Today’s international business world and the foreign language population in America demand the knowledge of a second language. Knowledge of our own language helps us to communicate better in our own English speaking world. Better communication with peoples of other languages and cultures means better understanding of these people. Andrean has a curriculum to meet these needs.
