Dixon, Mi-. A. Richey Ramseur. To the Board of Trustees The Board of Trustees is responsible for carrying out the policies of the State Board of Education. It is their job to provide and maintain the physical properties of our school system. The Board plans the budget for the district, is in charge of employment and salary decisions concerning the teachers, plans the physical education program, super- vises the courses of study, decides the calendar for the year. The most outstanding improvements instigated by the trustees are those concerning the new schools built throughout their years of service and the many improve- ments made to the existing schools.
