HUMANITIES LECTURES The seniors have been given a distinctive privilege this year in the form of lectures presented by distinguished scholars in realms of religion, history, math, science and the arts. The desire of the Curriculum Committee in promoting this series of lectures was to acquaint each senior with the history of Western development. Miss Mary McCown, Senior Class Counselorg Mrs. Ruby Grant, Junior Class Counselorg Miss Margaret Hood, Sophomore Class Counselor and Chief Counselor. THE LANGUAGE LAB At long last Hanna High has become equipped with a language lab, or rather the beginnings of one. In order to provide greater opportunity to hear native speakers, we have numerous records and tapes. By listening through earphones, students can reproduce the foreign sounds more accurately. They can check their programs in reproducing these sounds by listening to a recording of their pronunciation. That's me? is a familiar sound in our' language lab. Mahalie Brown, Carol Adams, Connie McClain, Brenda DT- D0f0'5l'1Y RiCh9Ya Dramarics DeP3ffmeUta Furman UniV9!'SiCY- Cromer, and Marilyn Breen make use of the language lab. xo,-
