Sports Omer See There to sports hink. tennis, softball, there were a total of seventeen varsity sports to participate in or watch. Some sports were played as a team and others, although part of a team, were individual sports. After all, it took nine people to make up a baseball roster where it took only one person to wrestle. Long hard hours of practice, A y rx g sacrificing things l'd rather do, lilllflll' M il' willingness to push that extra step Ceven in painJ, and dedication were just a few qualifications that AHS athletes possessed. Indians all enjoyed watching the games but only a few, the athletes, knew the tough demands and pain that went behind the successes of the teams and individuals.
