lflf 1' r1'S .5P- 52 What did that big 'A' on all those sweat- ers stand for? Yes, it was a special group of students open to anyone who had let- tered in at least one varsity sport. A-Club sponsored worthwhile activities throughout the school year including holding the ropes at home baslsetball games and cheering the Indians to victory. Not only did A-Club provide activities for the school, but also for the community. These activities included ringing bells at Christmastime for the Salva- tion Army and sponsoring a food drive. Sponsored by Mrs. Hadley, A-Club served also to malse students proud of their school and themselves I thinls it's a good exper- ience to be in A-Club because it's Isinda neat being out and doing things for oth- ers, stated Junior Mil-ze Farrer. .WTB Q2 A very well-lsnown tradition in our school was our awe-inspiring Indian wor dance. This years Mascot, Senior Jeff Lane, and Moiden, Senior Michelle McCoy, proc- ticed many long hours to perfect the dance performed to the beat of Jeff Mor- gan's tom-tom. l'It gave me lots of confi- dence to get up in front of other people, stated Michelle McCoy. Add up all these A-Club members and Mascot and Maiden and what do you get? . . . that unbeatable Indian spirit. Junior, Vance Wessar, A-Club member, rings a bell for the Salvation Army during the Christmas holiday season despite the bitterly cold temperatures.
