This year there were five girls among the 250 students in the industrial edu- cation courses. They were required to accomplish the same projects, but ac- cording to Dept. Head lVIr. Reilly, 'tThey were more efficient and neater in their work. He went on to add that this was good because it challenged the male students to do better. The wise selection of goods, sound child care procedures, and the import- ance of good interpersonal relation- ships in the home were important parts of the home economics curriculum.
