Within the next fifty years, the World will see the most drastic changes in the scientific field that has ever been known by man. Work will be plenti- ful, and highly-trained technicians will be needed for the better-paying jobs. High school is the starting point. Technical studies are the tools of tomorrow's mathematicians and scientists. Even today, there is a great need for skilled people to work with the pioneers on the research plane. Engineers, chemists, physicists, and many other specialists are the products of the present high school curriculum. Perhaps one of Al-lS's students will find a cure for heart disease: maybe someone will construct a rocket that will travel to distant planets.
