S . The tirst tourney pep-session was guite a success, it seems the Indian tound his mate, none other than brunette song- stressf Janice McArt. As his new sguaw, Janice takes her place in Anderson tradi- tion. Erankie Scampmorte added an extra touch by whooping it up in papoose style. To tide us through the Sectional, several warriors showed their strength in handling all opponents to a speedy deteat. Atte the Semi-tinal game, convention was thrown to the side and hugh bon-tires were built in down town streets to expose Indian patriotism. This swarm ot young supermen land womenl soon landed in Athletic Park atter snake-lining down Mer- idian. A huge congregation ot tear-stained people met in the l-ligh School Gymnas- ium three weeks atter the Sectional. It was one tine way ot welcoming the team back home. Nationally advertised as in Look .... in years to come you'll look back and won- der how that ever happened. It was this way, Bob Lavitt, photographer, and Erank Graham- sports editor ot Look , were given the assignment ot gathering mater- ial on a typical basketball city, so they chose Anderson .... and isn't it? Pictures were taken ot the cheering section' the hangout, the team in action and individ- ual pictures ot the team. The issue came out on March 2 lst. 1 -Q x or ME
