g g g Gil The Andersonian A as aa Elghth Grade 0l'l'lf I XS l ladxs Nolgelsan, President Ruth llhardt Secretarx Xllss Hlnes gponsor We started out from the lrlrsl C-rade Port some in the tentralllcd Sc hool Steamer others ln the Red School Boat We have now reached thc shores of the eighth grade and are making preparations to go onward Several times some of the crew were lell behind because of red marks or seaslc kness At the beventh Grade Port we changed to the large steamer Ander son Many were taken baek by the first enc ounler wlth the storms whlch resulted in seaslckness for those who were unprepared ln splte of the help by the Mates and Faptams some of the crew were left at the Sex enth Grade Harbor with about flftx members Ks the xoyage progressed flwe or six more sailors were added to the xessel and C-ladxs N olgelsang was advanced to the position of first mate while Ruth Ilharclt was made Quarter Master One of the best Captams is Nllss Hines who always tries to help where help IS badly needed Some of the other captains are Captain Struke Captain Prlckett Faptaln Brown and Captain Srofe who has charge of phx steal exercise hood basketball teams were orbanwed which successfullx competed against the teams of other ships Delightful part les were held for the crew at the homes ol several of the members ISXFIIIHN WAI lSandt I HHS NUI!
