Organizes school life Preparing themselves for the future, AHS students assumed much responsibility in planning the school's activities and programs. Student-teacher committees determined the themes of convocations that would be timely for the student body. These assemblies were designed to augment the academic side of school life. Other committees gave much thought to planning animated pep sessions and social events. Many students spent their free periods assisting in the school offices, saving the deans, teachers and counselors much time.
