. . . me Beilirain Ein Appwriaiiun . . . , An understanding teacher, eager students and the desire to produce--are the essential ingredients for an outstanding publication. We atAnderson High School have the assurance of all three. For the past twelve years Miss Lucile E. Frazier has served as Faculty Advisor for the Yellow Jacket Yearbook, the first publication of its kind ever produced for Anderson High. These' publications have created lasting impressions for they have not only been good public relation media but the best representations for the entire school program. For many years Miss Frazier has occupied the position as senior English instructor at Anderson High School, Austin, Texas. Because of her unchanging effort to stress thoroughness, exactness and neatness has graduated with honors many promising students into first-class English instructors. Another accomplishment attributed to her credit is the intercession she made to secure a national charter for the organization of a National Honor Society. The charter was granted and the present W. B. Campbell Chapter of the National Honor Society was organized. This organization is now The Organiza- tion of the Day at Anderson High. Lastly, to her goes the credit for the organization of the first official CAP and GOWN DAY3 which has become a tradition at Commencement Exercises for prospective graduates of Anderson High School. Miss Frazier obtained her education at Huston-Tillotson College, Austin, Texas, and Prairie View A dz M College, Prairie View, Texas, where she received the B.A. and M.A. Degrees in English respectively. Her post graduate study has been at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the University of Texas, Austin, Texas. 'For her devoted service and outstanding leadership: for being a wise counselor, a loyal supporter of Anderson High School, a good disciplinariang for her rare ability to add pleasure and satisfaction to learning, also, for the priceless gifts of knowledge and the inspiration she has bestowed upon us, .lf-tithe 1965 Yellow Jacket Staff wish to dedicate The 1965 YELLOW JACKET YEARBOOKU to Miss Lucile Edna Frazier, Faculty Advisor, as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
