multitude of beliefs, Tradition is an important word at Anderson High School . . . a word which encompasses a customs, standards and goals that have become a vital part of Anderson High School life. Some traditions have developed through the years as Anderson High has expanded in its enrollment, its size and its accomplishments, yet there are others that can be established, if there is a will to do. f ed ith the challenge to continue cherished traditions and at the same time add to the heritage Seniors are ac w of Anderson High. Each class has its own opportunities to develop traditions, but each year's innovations may prove to be different. It is to be remembered that traditions which do not contribute to the present and are no longer valid must be evaluated constructively and then discarded: hence each class must assume the responsi- bility of establishing new goals, setting new standards and initiating activities which will be worthy of being called Anderson High Traditions by the seniors of the future . . . This is your challenge, the invitation to maintain, to match, to create and to surpass. This fact, if fully appreciated, clarifies several other as ects of the interrelation between the school and community.
