Ready, Willing, And Able Members of FFA are always ready To lend a help- ing hand, willing To do Things better, and most cer- Tainly have shown They're able. This year's chapter accomplished everyThing They set out To do and more. AT The regional FFA Day aT The University of Kentucky, They received superior raTings in beef producTion, forage produc- Tion, Tobacco production, placement in ag., public speaking and Turf and landscape management. 500A of our chapter aTTended The conTesT which was The besT percenTage in The sTaTe. Last summer They attended The STaTe Livestock Show aT Eastern Ky. University where They placed Third ouT of 43 chapters. Senior Todd Elllott re- ceived a perfect score in The sheep judging divi- sion. ln order To become a STaTe Farmer, Their accom- plishments in production, projecTs, leadership, and Their activities are evaluated over a number of years. Seniors Davld Bird and Todd Elliot have re- ceived This award. Only Two percent of The sTaTe members are chosen for This honor. The chapter also entered a floaT in The ChrisTmas parade TiTled - 'lAmerican Ag. - We Feed The People. On The floaT were differenT aspecTs of farm life.
