People have so much To do, commenTed junior Billy Blackburn, ThaT many are noT willing enough or dedicaTed enough To give up oTher acTiviTies To work on projecTs in- volved in The club. The club has goTTen smaller and smaller since I sTarTed high school and I Think ThaT's The main reason. AlThough mosT of whaT The club members do is during The summer, They musT spend The resT of The year preparing for iT. EnTering Their projecTs in The counTy and sTaTe fairs is a major prioriTy. LasT summer They parTicipaTed in an exchange sTudenT program wiTh Teens from Kansas. The sTu- denTs sTayed here in KenTucky wiTh Their hosT family for a period of one week. Members of our A-H club rk Lllkenhus has been an active member of A-H showing his horses for will Travel To Kansas This summer To sTay wiTh Them. A-H Week aT U.K. is anoTher high poinT of 4-H because iT lasTs for one week. Dorms are provided for The club members Thaf come from all over The sTaTe. STaTe officers are elecTed aT This Time. OTher acTiviTies of The year include The paper drive held four Times, parking cars aT The horse show, and performing The skiT Copacabana aT The TalenT show.
