WiTh probably The besT back-courT in Their region Cseniors David Ishma- el and Darin Youngj and an excellenT fronT-courT lineup Qseniors Denver Sumner and Lynn Wells and junior Tim Skaggsj, mosT fans jusT couldn'T under- sTand why The 'Cais didn'T win more games. Darin, who direcTed The courT and led The Team in assisTs Q8 or more per gamej, said iT like iT was: We jusT couldn'T play The whole game. Denver came of age This season and, even Though This was his firsT solid year of varsiTy play, he made his presence under The boards known. Denver and Lynn boTh had some big shoes To fill, said Coach Cheatham, buT They boTh did excellenT jobs all season.
