Spring Break When Wednesday, April 9, rolled around, mosT ACHS sTudenTs were more Than ready To go on Their Two-day spring break. 'TTwo days is noT really a fair deal: Spring break should be aT leasT a five-day week, said senior Tony Chrisman, i'buT l was glad To have a short break anyway. lVlosT sTudenTs did a varieTy of Things during Their break. I looked forward To being able To lay ouT some, buT Thursday really wasn'T warm enough, said senior Wendy Bruce, so l wenT To Keeneland insTead. OTher sTudenTs wenT ouT of Town over spring break. I wenT To Ohio during spring break, said junior Marie Crawford. Lesley Cox wenT wiTh me. We jusT visiTed wiTh my family and Took iT easy, but we had a greaT Time. Being ouT of school for four days is a nice change. Having a break is someThing we should do more ofTen, said junior Lisa Ashcroft. Crusing is a big parT of Lawrenceburg's nighT life. Senior Marti Thompson and junior Lisa Ashcroft siT aT Wal-lVlarT as They waTch oThers cruise around. Freshmen Bobby Richmond and Eric Pittman finally geT a chance To geT ouT Their bikes for a ride down Highway 427. Spring break for some was noT all play. Diiterent Strokes Many ACI-IS students have hobbies. Some are out to make money, some To pass The time away, and others just like to help people. Several students are artists. They like to draw for enjoyment. Others give art lessons or do art work for people To make money. I draw for fun more than anything, but sometimes I can make a little extra money for my work, said senior Tim Todd. Some students like to entertain people by acting or dancing. Senior Rachel Dockal likes To spend some of her spare time acting with The Community Theatre. I have a great Time acting, said Rachel. Freshman Twins Karen and Kristi Clark help Teach dancing. 'Dancing is a great way to stay in shape, said Kristi. I have a really good Time when l'm dancing. Other students have unusual habbies such as vol- unteering for The fire department. These people make hobbies out of helping others. I Think iT's a really good experience, said senior Todd Elliott. Dancing is not only a hobby, but also a part-time job aT Curtain Call Dance Studio for freshmen Kristi and Karen Clark. 26 - Hobbies L
