During auto mechanics senior George Cocanougher works on a motor that he built and plans To put in his car, ThaT's The Brakes! In auto mechanics class, taught by Mr. Mike Arm- strong, students learn The basics of good car care. howto align tires, fix brakes, build Transmissions, and generally keep The car's engine running smoothly. I Took This class, because I want to learn more about cars, and howto keep Them in good shape, said junior Dustin Curtis. All of The cars are worked on during class Time only. The customers bring The cars in and The stu- dent do all of The repair work. Another Thing The class does is prepare for and enter The VICA contest. Last year They placed iaith in The nation and 22nd The year before. They plan To enter it again This year. They also plan To enter The state Plymouth Trouble Shooting Contest.
