Stuclent Council 1950-51 SCHOOL BOARD 1949-50 SCHOOL BOARD Second Row Presley Hanna, Kenneth Humpal, V. S. Lago- Irvin Hovet, Kenneth Humpal, O. A. Rife, Sec Verne Pur marcino cell, Il. E. Brickley, L. A. Downing First Row Nerne Purcell, P. S. Robertson, Irvin Hovet. The Student Council, after being established in the spring of 1949, became an active organization this year. Under the leader- ship of Don Yahnke, the Council carried on several projects. It conducted a highly successful dance in the fall of the year, net- ted ninety-one dollars selling ads for the program used at the Sec- tional Basketball tournaments and took charge of the Benefit Basketball Game between the faculty and the business men with tl : proceeds going to the Community Room. The Council also undertook odd tasks such as introducing assembly speakers. The Council became well established this year and will con- tinue to play an active part in the school life of A. H. S. Third Row: Paul Whear, Larry Crockett. Second Row: Arnie Ditch, David Rife, Tre-asurer, LaVe:'ne Roberg, Marion Norton.
