Only three conference losses, two of which were to conference champion, Marion, were absorbed. Two of the remaining losses were to the Iowa City and McKinley B squads. The principle contributing factors to such a successful season included the offensive guard play of Rich Northrup, the height of Don Michels, the jump shot of Marion Norton, and the ability of the Ditch brothers. We mixed these in the boiling pot of the future and think we see more successful bas- ketball seasons for these Anamosa basketball players.
