Major Sam Bal-ter, Major Dave Penlev The Anacostia Cadet Corps. Consisting of the 7th and 27th regiments, is divided into ten companies and a band. In the 1956 spring competition the corps continued to bring honors to our school. These tivo regiments, commanded by Lieutenant Colonels Paul Yost and Ifred Fischer, captured 2nd and 3rd places. Under the command of Captain joel Tolson, our band took first place for the 10th consecutive year. D Company, commanded by Captain ,john Methvin, came off with 3rd place in the com- pany competition. The Honor Sic Unit Rating, which is given by the Army to outstanding cadet units, was placed upon our corps for the second time. Some members of the corps were given the privilege of marching in the Inaugural Parade. FIRST SERGEANTS: Eli Busada, Ag Frank Vfolf, BQ Lucius Dixon, Dg XY'arren Ziegler, Eg joseph Collins.
