2 Bobby Morris DEDICATION To, Coley Vaughn, who has kindly understanding of young people, who is always willing to discuss student problems and offer helpful advice, who will long be remembered by the students of Anaconda High School. We, the class of 1952, in deep humility, dedicate this annual to Coley Vaughn. 5 SCHOOL BOARD Horace Dwyer, John Fussell, Ben Bollinger, Clyde Farlin, Kenneth Horsfall, Bert Ash- lock, and Dave Nelson. Secretary Clerk Secretary Herb Swanson 6 Ruth Me Hugh Ruth Summers E. J. Nordgaard Principal’s Message The graduates of 1952 are going forth from Anaconda High School to join the ranks of those who by their ideals, their principles, their activities, are shaping the civilization and destinies of our country. It is the hope of Anaconda High that her graduates are in some way better fitted to add something constructive to the future success of our community and country. We hope that your years at Anaconda High have been happy and prosperous and that your future will be even more so. Superintendent’s Message TO THE GRADUATES: Because it is one of the fundamental principals of our great democratic society that every youth be offered the privilege of at least a secondary ed- ucation, democracy has a right to expect that you will accept the responsibilities of citizenship and return to her payments in public service. Beneath the surface of popular government there must always be the sustaining structure of a spiritual objective and a unified program by which to obtain that objective: the ideal society. If there are moments of dis- couragement, we remember that it is the very dreams, hopes, and ambitions of youth that accomplish so many things that age in its wisdom knows to be impossible. 7 Mike O'Leary ROYAL BARNELL English-Speech F.
