Mr. Billy E. Crawford The Yearbook Staff welcomes Mr. Billy E. Crawford to AHS. Mr. Crawford received his B.A., M.A. and Plus 30 from Northwestern State University with certification in Social Studies, English and Administration. He previously worked at Leesville High, Vernon Elementary and Hornbeck High School. Prior to Mr. Crawford's appointment as principal of AHS, he served as Guidance Counselor and Assistant Principal at Hornbeck High. Working with Mr. Crawford has been very rewarding. He gave the Staff and Yearbook Sponsors full cooperation and consideration. We welcome Mr. Crawford to AHS. We wish him many years of continued success. The Yearbook Staff

The students and employees of Anacoco High School wish to thank the voters of Orange School District for their generosity in passing the S1,875,000.00 bond issue. This money is to be used for many needed improvements to our school campus. The Yearbook Staff wishes to commend Mr. Byron E. Farris, our Ward II School Board Member, for his tireless work in helping to get these proposals planned and passed. Congratulations! You have created a masterpiece of memories. I know that you will enjoy even now remembering the events of this past school year, but as time goes by and you get older this book will become a priceless treasure. Many times in the future you will take this annual and wander back to yesteryear when things were perhaps more simple. So because of this it is im- perative that a yearbook be comprehen- sive, beautiful, well formatted and en- duringg this yearbook is all of these things and more.
