Superintendent’s Message Friends: I should like to take this opportunity to com- mend the faculty and students of Anacoco High School who have given freely of their time and effort to make it possible for us to enjoy the many activities which are presented in this yearbook. It records people and events not merely in terms of the observable in the classroom and at recreation, but it also reveals much of the deeper meaning that high school graduation and training can have in the lives of boys and girls. The warmhearted feeling and fine professional spirit demonstrated by teachers and students in your school is an inspiration to all of us. I realize, too, that this remarkable achievement cannot be ac- complished without cooperation and leadership ability. To Mr. Troy Morrison, a helpful and understanding Elementary Principal and Teacher who has contributed many extra and useful services to his fellow faculty members and stu- dents of Anacoco School, we dedicate, with pride, this 1967 edition of the Anacoco Chief. The faculty, student body and staff members take pleasure in expressing our deep ap- preciation to Mr. Morrison for the many years of service to our school in helping to make it better and more pleasant when the work seemed hardest.

Principal’s Message It is a privilege to use this space to congratulate members of the graduating class for the progress you have made in Anacoco school. For some, this marks the end of formal ed- ucation; for others it is merely another step toward higher learning. I hope your high school years have prepared you for the many and varied challenges ahead of you.
